Aurora
The coordinating intelligence at the center of MAVENS, designed to connect specialist agents, research, spatial context and mission workflows.
MAVENS / PRE-RELEASE
See the world. Understand the connections.
MAVENS is a civilian intelligence and coordination platform being built to bring maps, research, cameras, sensors and autonomous systems into a shared understanding of the world.
AURORA / ORCHESTRATION
At the center of MAVENS is Aurora: an AI orchestration layer designed to connect specialized agents, turn observations into useful context, and help people coordinate their next steps.
From a local workstation to connected field systems, the mission is the same: clearer awareness, better-informed decisions, and people in control.
SYSTEM / ARCHITECTURE
Each part of MAVENS sees the world from a different angle. Together they share one record of places, observations and evidence. These are the roles each part is designed to play; current availability is listed under Progress.
The coordinating intelligence at the center of MAVENS, designed to connect specialist agents, research, spatial context and mission workflows.
A three-dimensional workspace for exploring terrain, infrastructure, observations and reconstructed environments across research and operations.
A two-dimensional workspace for investigations, infrastructure, missions and field awareness, with the layers and tools to examine a place closely.
The research environment for connecting sources, entities, places and events into investigations whose evidence stays traceable.
The perception layer for interpreting camera imagery through object detection, tracking, pose estimation and scene relationships.
The shared record connecting places, objects, observations and changes across time, with sources and uncertainty attached.
The pipeline for turning imagery and spatial measurements into models of rooms, buildings and environments.
Supervised mission workflows for compatible aircraft, surface vehicles and underwater platforms, connecting planning, telemetry and observations.
Local computing, stored knowledge, maps and field communications for places where connectivity is limited. Field radios carry short messages and positions; imagery and large maps sync when a faster link returns.
The security foundation for identity, permissions, monitoring, integrity and recovery throughout MAVENS.
HOW IT WORKS / WORLD MODEL
The world gives us signals. Understanding comes from connecting them, and from keeping track of where each one came from.
USE CASES / IN PRACTICE
Three situations MAVENS is being designed for. Each describes the intended workflow, not a completed deployment.
01 · INFRASTRUCTURE INSPECTION
Inspectors bring earlier drawings, past inspection notes and new imagery into one place. Falcon View shows the structure in three dimensions while Gotham maps access routes and nearby utilities.
Vision marks areas of the imagery for an inspector to review, and the World Model files each finding with its date and source, so the next inspection starts where this one ended.
02 · ENVIRONMENTAL OBSERVATION
Weather records, river gauges, satellite imagery and field-sensor readings come together on one timeline. Foundry links the reports and studies to the places they describe.
Aurora summarises what changed, shows which sources support each point, and says plainly where data is missing.
03 · DISASTER MAPPING
Teams combine public alerts, road conditions, aerial imagery and field reports into one shared map. Off-grid kits keep maps and local computing running when networks fail.
Field radios exchange short position and status messages; larger imagery syncs once a faster connection returns. Every proposed task waits for a person to approve it.
